BRAVE SOPHIE

For the second time in her life 5 yo Sophie Delezio is again fighting for her life at Sydney's Childrens Hospital after being hit by a car. Several years ago she was trapped under a burning vehicle which had careened through her day care centres walls and subsequently Sophie had amputations to both legs and hands, She has also had severe burns to her body, but this young lady is a true Aussie fighter and pulled through and started school earlier this year. The tragic news last week that she was again in hospital after being hit by a car while crossing the road is indeed saddening and tragic for Sophie, her parents and family, hospital staff as well as the Australian community as a whole. She is currently in a medically induced coma to aid in her recovery.
